Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Prior to Charter

100% Refund

Entitled to: Complete refund excluding processing charges

Processing Duration: 5-7 business days

Handling Fee: £50 for credit card transactions

Requirements: Must be submitted in written form through email or telephone

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Eligible for: Half of the total cost of the charter

Process Timeframe: 7-10 business days

Service Charge: £25 deducted from the refund

Stipulations: A legitimate justification is needed; administrative expenses apply

Less than 24 Hours Prior to Charter

No Refund

Reimbursement: No refund available

Exception: Consideration given to urgent situations

Alternate Solution: At the discretion of management, a credit for chartering may be provided

Terms: Emergency claims require supporting paperwork

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Commitment to Safe Weather Conditions

Our chief concern is safety. If our qualified captain decides that weather conditions are not safe for charter activities, we provide flexible alternatives:

  • Full Reimbursement: If rescheduling is not an option, a full refund will be provided
  • Rescheduling: Booking moved to another available date without extra fees
  • Voucher for Charter: A credit valid for one year from the original charter date

Procedure for Weather Evaluation

We consider the following in our weather evaluations:

  • Analyzing wind patterns and velocities
  • Assessing sea conditions and wave heights
  • Forecasting visibility and precipitation
  • Advisories and warnings from the Coast Guard
  • Assessment of safety by our professional captain

Time for Decision: Decisions regarding weather cancellations are made no later than 4 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Cases of Emergency

We are sympathetic to unforeseen medical emergencies. In the following scenarios, special consideration may be provided:

  • Unexpected injury or illness that necessitates hospital admission
  • A death within the immediate family
  • Urgent military deployment or recall
  • Receiving a summons for jury duty or a court order
  • Natural disasters impacting travel plans

Requirements for Documentation

To proceed with requests for emergency refunds, please provide:

  • Evidence or a certificate from a medical facility
  • Certificate of Death (if applicable)
  • Official military command
  • Notice for court appearance or jury service
  • Travel warnings or declarations of emergency

Processing: Refunds due to emergencies are addressed within 3-5 working days following the provision of the necessary documentation.

Operational Cancellations

Technical Problems

If the yacht designated to you encounters unsolvable mechanical issues:

  • Replacement Vessel: We will attempt to provide a similar alternative
  • Complete Refund: Offered if an appropriate replacement is not found
  • Partial Reimbursement: Applicable if the replacement vessel services differ in cost
  • Compensation: Additional recompense considered for inconveniences

Availability of Crew

In exceptional cases where authorized crew cannot be provided:

  • Efforts will be made to arrange an alternative crew
  • Complete refund if the charter cannot proceed
  • Option to reschedule without additional fees

Means of Payment

The method used for the initial booking will be the same method for processing refunds:

  • Credit Cards: Within 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: Within 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Check: Within 3-5 business days

A fee of £50 for cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance

Execution for Bank Transfers

Handling fee of £25 for all bank transfer repayments

Extra charges could be applicable for transactions across borders

Credits for Charter

Availability of Credits

Credits for chartering may be provided as an alternative to repayment under certain conditions:

  • Cancellations made at the last minute (less than 24 hours ahead)
  • Cancellations due to adverse weather
  • Requests made voluntarily for rescheduling
  • Disruptions in operations

Terms for Credit

  • Effectiveness: Valid for one year from the date of issuance
  • Assignment: Non-transferable to others
  • Worth: Equivalent to the entire value of the charter (exempt from processing charges)
  • Application: Can be utilized for any future charter that's available
  • Expiration: Cannot be extended 12 months after issuance

Refunds for Partial Services

Service Discontinuations

If your charter experience is interrupted or cut short due to elements we can control:

  • A refund calculated pro-rata based on unutilized duration
  • Credit for an upcoming charter equal to the original value
  • Services complimentary or upgrades granted

Interruptions Caused by Guests

If a charter concludes prematurely because of a guest's conduct or breach of safety regulations:

  • No reimbursement for the remaining time
  • Full charge still applicable
  • Possible supplemental fees

Settling Disputes

If the conclusion reached regarding a refund is not to your satisfaction, you may:

  • Seek a review by our leadership team
  • Present further evidence or documentation
  • Enlist consumer protection organizations for resolution
  • Opt for legal avenues as per the laws in force

Our team will confirm receipt of your application within a day, evaluate it in accordance with this policy, and communicate a decision within two days. Approved refunds will be handled following the given timelines.

  • Reimbursements will be made in £, regardless of the currency used for the initial payment
  • Obtaining travel insurance is advisable
  • Notice of 30 days will be provided prior to any changes in this policy
